Rehabilitation and recovery for optimal health.
Rehabilitation and recovery for optimal health.
Movement is good for the heart, soul and body. Homecare physiotherapy allows you to receive a personalized treatment and exercise program to manage your physiotherapy needs, in the comfort of your own home.
We use the latest technologies and techniques to provide the most effective treatments for pain management and injury recovery.
Traditionally, homecare was provided to seniors and to patients recovering from a surgery.
Once able, they would transition to a clinic to complete their care. Now, everything can be done at home to provide a complete recovery.
Homecare physiotherapy doesn't need to be different than in-clinic physiotherapy. The same injuries and conditions that would be treated in a clinic setting, can also be treated in your home.
Conditions such as general muscle and joint injuries, or pain and swelling, can be treated in the comfort of your own home. These conditions might include:
When I arrrive at your home, I may bring a computer, a table, or any other piece of equipment that could be required for your physiotherapy assessment or treatment.
For your scheduled appointment, it is best to find an area in your home that is quiet and free of obstacles. An area that is large enough to accommodate a portable massage table may be required.
To begin your evaluation, I will ask you questions about your current concerns and your previous medical history.
Once you have been evaluated, I will provide you with education regarding your condition and how physiotherapy might help. Together we will problem solve to provide you with a personalized treatment plan to meet your goals.
Treatment interventions may include hands-on manual therapy like; myofascial/soft tissue techniques, trigger point release, active and passive stretching, joint mobilization, rehabilitation exercises, acupuncture and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS)/dry needling.
A Doctor's referral is not required to schedule a physiotherapy appointment.
